NYC hair stylist and makeup artist Johnny Rackleff is a dedicated fashion, beauty and art enthusiast, whose passion for all things artistic transpires through his work. His consideration and appreciation for a client’s overall features, look and style is what gives him an edge over the competition.
Johnny began his career working at MAC Cosmetics in Orange County, California, where he honed in on his skills and perfected his technique as a makeup artist. Ambition brought him to New York, where he began working as a hair stylist and makeup artist for celebrities, editorials, and private clients.
Johnny was one of the masterminds behind the 2010 launch of BULLET magazine, which gave him his first taste of editorial styling. Today, he regularly assists renowned hair stylist Eugene Souleiman on editorial spreads and during New York Fashion Week. He has styled for such shows as Tory Burch, DKNY, Jeremy Scott, Donna Karan, J Brand, Peter Som, Tommy Hilfiger and Lulu Frost.
